About the Event

50/50 raffle

Raffle ticket info:

·  1 for $5

·  3 for $10

·  5 for $15

·  10 for $20

The winning ticket will receive 50% of the entire pot.  The other 50% goes to the Recreation fund, to be used for purchases/events not covered by the general budget.     

Tickets will be sold at the beach at 9:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and from the swim dock at 5:00 p.m. 

If you are unable to catch us at these times and locations, reach out to Carol Norwood.

9:00 am Fishing Tournament

Meet at the beach

Age 15 and under $1, 16 and older $5.  Tournament ends at noon sharp!  Prizes are given in multiple categories.  

9:30 am Kayak Paddle

Meet at the beach or join in along the way – this is a social, non-competitive paddle around the lake.

Kayaks, Paddleboards, canoes, etc. welcomed

1:00 pm – Volleyball and Tug of War

Meet at the beach

5:00 pm Poker Run

Meet swim dock at the beach

$5.00 per hand, cash prizes – There are 5 stops around the lake.  Look for the docks with the large numbered signs.  They appear in order following the normal traffic flow.   Proceed around the lake picking up a card, per hand (making one trip around the lake due to time constraints and to not interfere with the boat parade).  If you have questions as you go, you can ask at the hosting docks.   

7:00 Boat Parade

Patriotic boat, canoe, kayak, anything that floats parade begins.  Fabulous prizes to the winners.

Previous categories were Most Patriotic, Most Creative, Funniest – Judging takes place at Jeff and Melanee Crist’s dock (located on the north side of the lake close to the dam.  Look for their sign!

 Dusk – Fireworks from the Dam

Reminder:  Dam access will be closed to traffic beginning at 7:00 pm for set up. 

If you watch the fireworks from the water, your watercraft of choice (boat, kayak, canoe, paddleboard, paddleboat, etc.) MUST have front and rear lights for everyone’s safety. 

All water traffic must stay a safe distance from the dam for obvious safety reasons. Please visualize a line between Bill & Gloria Wuthrich’s and Bob Basham & Jane Kieler’s boat docks. 

 Sunday – Lighted Boat Parade

Just for fun!  Decorate your boat with lights and join the boat evening lighted boat parade to being at 9:30 Sunday evening
