5:00 pm Poker Run Start at the swim dock at the beach. $5.00 per hand. Cash Prizes!! There are 5 "stops" around the lake. Look for the docks with the large numbered signs. The “stops” appear in order following the normal traffic flow. Proceed around the lake picking up one card, per hand (making one trip around the lake due to time constraints and to not interfere with the boat parade). We are still in need of two volunteer dock stops. Please contact Matt or Suzann Copeland if you would like to volunteer.
7:00 pm Boat Parade. Pontoon, canoe, kayak, anything that floats. Decorate your vessel as cash prizes will be awarded in 3 categories: Most Patriotic, Most Creative and Funniest. Judging takes place at Jeff and Melanee Crist's dock (located on the north side of the lake close to the dam). Look for their sign!
Dusk Fireworks from the Dam Reminder: Dam access will be closed to traffic beginning at 7:00 pm for set up. If you watch the fireworks from the water, your watercraft of choice (boat, kayak, canoe, paddleboard, paddleboat, etc.) must stay a safe distance from the dam for obvious safety reasons. Please visualize a line between Bill and Gloria Wuthrich's and Bob Basham & Jane Kieler's boat docks. Additionally, ALL watercraft must have lighting, again for safety
